Oscars 2025 Nominations Announced

It finally happened! The 97th Aacademy Awards have just announced the full list of nominations with Jacques Audiard’s musical Emilia Pérez getting even 13 nominations. The Brutalist and Wicked both received 10 nominations each.

Subsequently Conclave and A Complete Unknown gathered 8 nominations each. However, two of the most famous actresses - Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie - surprisingly had not made it to the nominee list for their performance in a leading role in Babygirl and Maria. Meanwhile Ariana Grande received her first Oscar nomination as an actress in a Supporting role for playing Glinda in the first part of Wicked.
