Oppenheimer Leads 96th Oscars Nominations
They're here - the long-awaited 96th Oscars nominees, which actually bring no big surprises with Oppenheimer leading with 13 nominations including major acting and directing prizes as well as for the best picture.
Barbie has got eight nomination, but was missed out on best director and best actress in a leading role nominations. However, America Ferrera and Ryan Gosling were nominated for supporting performance.
Poor Things and Killers of the Flower Moon received respectfully eleven and ten nominations. Both of them were put on best picture and best directing spots. Lily Gladstone from Killers of the Flower Moon became the first ever Native American actress to score a nomination.
The only female director in best directing category is Justine Triet for her Anatomy of a Fall, which was also nominated for the best picture.
