Conclave Wins Best Film Award At BAFTA 2025

The most prominent British film awards - BAFTA - celebrated yesterday the very best in film of the past year. The most lucky were The Brutalist and Conclave with four wins each.
To some it should have come as a surprise that Conclave won in the Best Film and Outstanding British Film categories. In addition, the film won BAFTAs for Adapted Screenplay and Editing.
Meanwhile Adrien Brody continues snatching Best Leading Actor awards for his performance in The Brutalist. This time Brady Corbet, the director of the film, was also honored with the BAFTA for Directing. The film also received awards in the Cinematography and Original Score categories.
Mikey Madison won Leading Actress for Anora leaving Demi Moore and Substance without BAFTA film award in this category. Kieran Culkin won Supporting Actor for A Real Pain and Zoe Saldaña - Supporting Actress for Emilia Pérez, the film that also won in the Film Not in the English Language category.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl won two categories: Animated Film and the new category introduced this year - Children’s & Family Film, meanwhile Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story won Documentary.
