Cannes Festival 2024 Announces Its Official Selection
It's hard to believe that just about in a month the 77th Cannes Festival will draw all the cinematographic spotlights to the Palais des Festivals again. One of the most prestigious events in the global cinema community will take place on May 14-25.
Therefore today the announcement of the 2024 Official Selection was broadcasted live during the traditional annual meeting with the French and international press. The list of feature films selected in Competition, in Certain Regard, Out of Competition, in Midnight Screenings, at Cannes Première and in Special Screenings were presented and the chosen filmmakers congratulated.
As the films from the last year's Competition are still being circulated around the world, here are the films selected for Competition 2024:

The Festival will be opened by Quentin Dupieux's comedy The Second Act (out of Competition).
The Festival will be also premiering Kevin Costner's Horizon, An American Saga, and George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, both out of Competition.
