Anora Triumphs At Oscars 2025

It was really hard to predict this year's best picture winner at the Oscars 2025, but still, it came as a surprise. Sean Baker's Anora dominated the whole ceremony of the 97th Academy Awards.
In addition to this trophy, Anora also snatched the Oscars for best directing (Sean Baker), best actress in a leading role (Mikey Madison), original screenplay, and film editing.
On the other hand, first with The Pianist, the second - with The Brutalist, Adrien Brody didn't leave any hope for his competitors by winning his second Oscar as the best actor in a leading role. Kieran Culkin also felt unbeatable in the category of the best actor in a supporting role for his top-notch performance in A Real Pain. Zoe Saldana - a frontrunner in the polls - wasn't disappointed either by getting an Oscar for best actress in a supporting role and securing one of two Oscars for a criminal musical Emilia Pérez.
I'm Still Here received an Oscar as the best foreign language film, Flow - best animated feature film, and No Other Land - best documentary feature film.
These Oscars were not in favor of A Complete Unknown, the film about Bob Dylan's way to his fame, which was left out of the awards. Demi Moore has also been deprived of her hope to finally get a well-deserved recognition for her stunning performance in The Substance.
