The 76th Golden Globe Awards Nominees Already Waiting For Denouement
The big game is on. Nominations for one of the most prestigious cinematographic awards were announced last week leading to the 76th Golden Globe Award Ceremony, which will take place on January 6, 2019. Hence the rehearsal to Oscars has already started.
There's no surprise that such grand movies as Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star Is Born are apparent in the nomination lists. However, they are not the ones listed the most frequently. This year the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) really liked the Dick Cheney biopic Vice. It received six Golden Globe nominations, including best picture (musical/comedy) and best actor (Christian Bale).
There's still plenty of time to watch and evaluate the nominees for yourselves, considering a rather long Christmas holiday season this year. No doubt the screenings could make your routine evenings worth a thought or two. Just pick the ones you haven't seen yet.
