National Book Awards Announced Category Finalists
The National Book Foundation announced the finalist to this year's National Book Award. Five finalists in each of the literature group - fiction, nonfiction, poetry, young people’s literature and translated literature.
The longlist of fiction category has been shortened to the following five:
A Lucky Man by James Brinkley
Florida by Lauren Groff
Where The Dead Sit Talking by Brandon Hobson
The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai
The Friend by Sigrid Nunez
