Horror Invades Cinemas In February
Though February is the shortest month of the year, it might still be the scariest. At least in terms of new horror movie releases. Seven new nerve scratching works are being introduced to the fans of this bloody industry. Take it or leave it but here is the list of titles, plots and trailers to decide, which of them is worth visiting on a big screen.
Plot Synopsis: The film follows firearm heiress Sarah Winchester (Helen Mirren), who's convinced that she's haunted by the souls killed at the hands of the Winchester repeating rifle. After the sudden deaths of her husband and child, she throws herself into the construction of an enormous mansion designed to keep the evil spirits at bay. But when skeptical San Francisco psychiatrist Eric Price (Jason Clarke) is dispatched to the estate to evaluate her state of mind, he discovers that her obsession may not be so insane after all.
Plot Synopsis: Set a decade after the events of the series' first three films, Victor Crowley reunites Hatchet mainstays Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th) and Parry Shen (Better Luck Tomorrow) for an all-new, horrifying journey into the haunted, blood-drenched bayou. In 2007, forty-nine people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew Yong's claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy, but when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Yong must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.

They terrorize a young couple in their home and these tricks become increasingly more sinister as the night progresses, finally ending in a Halloween the entire neighborhood will never forget.
Plot Synopsis: Mary (Christie Burke), a new mother gives birth to two twins but only one of them is alive. While taking care of her remaining child, Adam, she suspects that something, a supernatural entity, has chosen her child and will stop at nothing to take it from her.
Plot Synopsis: Detectives Sean and David Carter are on the case to find a gruesome serial killer terrorizing the city. Joining forces with Detective Christine Egerton, they dig deeper into a spiraling maze of horror that may not be of this world. Could the Judgment awaiting the killer's victims also be waiting for Sean?
Plot Synopsis: The film unfolds in the aftermath of a devastating virus which transformed the infected into zombie-like monsters. Mankind is struggling to rebuild societies deeply divided between the uninfected and those who did succumb to the virus and are still haunted by their violent actions. In the backdrop, the rise of a terrorist movement threatens to plunge the world into chaos again.
Plot Synopsis: A Gothic horror story about brother and sister twins who are forbidden from ever leaving their haunted home and the deadly outcome of one of them falling in love with an outsider.
