The Festival De Cannes Reveals Its Official Selection
The most elegant film festival is on its way. This year it celebrates its 70th anniversary, therefore Cannes are going to build up a special cinematographic fiesta to honour the occasion. With Monica Bellucci as Mistress of Ceremonies and Pedro Almodóvar as the President of the Jury, the Festival de Cannes will kick off on Wednesday 17 May and last till 28 May.
Today the Official Selection was revealed to the public. In the category of Competition the following films will stand before the Jury pre-featured by the Opening film LES FANTÔMES D’ISMAËL (Ismael's Ghosts) by Arnaud DESPLECHIN:

In addition, the Festival organizers have announced that the Festival will also hold special screenings of two new episodes of Twin Peaks and the whole second season of Top Of The Lake: China Girl, as both directors - David Lynch and Jane Campion - are the former winners of the Palme d'Or.
