King Kong, The Beast, Boss Baby And Other Forms Of Life On March Screens


Something light-minded for a weekend? March releases a variety of new fantasy, science-fiction and family movies for your entertainment. An old dear fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast will shine in a new modern light, the King Kong will resurrect in a mysterious Skull Island while new Martian forms of life will emerge in Life. Not to mention the cunning Boss Baby. It will definitely take not a weekend but a few to enjoy the offered show.

FANTASY

A treasure not gold or jewels, but the island's barbaric god, a monstrous anthropoid called Kong; The savage giant escaped and wreaked havoc among the man-made canyons of Manhattan, but within hours of the giant's death his body, and Carl Denham, disappeared. Many years later, the son of Carl Denham makes a shocking discovery that leads him back to the site of his father's greatest adventure and to the answers that will unlock the century's greatest mystery and history's greatest miracle.

It is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.


THE DISCOVERY Director: Charlie McDowell Written by: Charlie McDowell, Justin Lader Starring: Jason Segel, Rooney Mara, Riley Keough, Jesse Plemons, Ron Canada Plot Synopsis: A sci-fi story set two years after the discovery of an afterlife that has been scientifically proven where millions of people have taken their own lives in order to start over. Jason Segel plays the son of the man responsible for the Discovery (Robert Redford) and Rooney Mara plays a woman he falls in love with whose life is tinged by a tragic past.

Director: Dagen Merrill Written by: Kevin Burke, Federico Fernandez-Armesto, Adam Gyngell Starring: Dominic Monaghan, Sarah Habel, Tom Sizemore Plot Synopsis: In the near future, where the world relies on renewable energy, a safety inspector is sent on a dangerous mission to a remote nuclear power plant after it suddenly goes offline. With the world on the brink of a nuclear meltdown, she begins to have doubts about the sanity - and the identities - of the very people she must rely on.

Director: Tom McGrath Written by: Michael McCullers, Marla Frazee Starring: Alec Baldwin, Lisa Kudrow, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel, ViviAnn Yee, Miles Bahski, Eric Bell Jr Plot Synopsis: Alec Baldwin suits up to play the boss (who FYI, is a total baby) in DreamWorks Animation's upcoming comedy feature.. Joined by Kevin Spacey who will take on the role of corporate uber-villain (and baby nemesis) Francis E. Francis, the two will duke it out for the proverbial World's Best Boss mug. A seven-year-old boy is jealous of his fast-talking, briefcase-carrying baby brother (voiced by Alec Baldwin). When he goes on a mission to win back affection of his parents, he finds out about a secret plot by the CEO of Puppy Co. (voiced by Kevin Spacey), which revolves around his baby brother and threatens to destabilize the balance of love in the world. Both brothers must unite to save their parents, restore order to the world and prove that love is indeed an infinite force.
