Cast Is Ready For Shooting Of Cormoran Strike Series
Instead of the updates on when to expect the 4th Robert Galbraith (a.k.a. J.K. Rowling) novel in Cormoran Strike series, its official website has announced about the cast and the start of shooting TV series for BBC One:
British actor Holliday Grainger has been cast as Robin Ellacott opposite Tom Burke’s Cormoran Strike, in a major new TV series for BBC One. The Strike Series will be produced as three separate event dramas set to begin shooting in November across London.
Holliday Grainger said “I’m thrilled to be joining the talented creative team behind ‘The Strike Series’, especially with the role of Robin Ellacott. Her grounded strength and intelligence is going to be a joy to explore. I can’t wait to dive straight into the wit and grit of Strike’s cannily well observed London.”
With Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them to be released this week in the cinema theatres, it would add up to the total of all J.K. Rowling literary works turned into film adaptations, from all adventures of Harry Potter through The Casual Vacancy and now up to Cormoran Strike.
