The Night Of Emmys


Tonight is a TV entertainment night, as this evening the 68th Emmy Awards will be handed out for the best that television has to offer. Once again the well-loved Game of Thrones is honored the most by receiving 23 nominations. However, the first-timers have also been high valued, including The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story (22 nominations) and Fargo (18 nominations).

"From favorites like Game of Thrones, Veep, and House of Cards to nominations newcomers like black-ish, Master of None, The Americans and Mr. Robot, television has never been more impactful in its storytelling, sheer breadth of series and quality of performances by an incredibly diverse array of talented performers", while announcing the nominations told Television Academy Chairman and CEO Bruce Rosenblum.

Tonight's ceremony hosted by Jimmy Kimmel on ABC will reveal whether Games of Thrones and Veep will take home the trophies or the newcomers will beat them this time. Anyway you'll have to wait till Tom Hiddleston will disclose the night's final award by announcing the best drama series.
